Elastomer Diaphragms

CR Neoprene (Chloroprene Rubber)

A general purpose elastomer rubber that offers a good corrosive and abrasive resistance. CR Neoprene offers good resistance to various animal fats, greases and oils. CR Neoprene has low vapor and gas permeability making it suitable for gas and vacuum services.

Temperature Range: -20°F to 212°F (-28°C to 100°C)
Size Range: ½” – 6” (DN8-DN150)*
Grade: CR

NBR Nitrile Butadiene (Buna-N Rubber)

Buna offers excellent to resistance to oils and fats, paraffin, fatty acids, and fuel oils.

Temperature Range: -20°F to 212°F (-28°C to 100°C)
Size Range: ½” – 6” (DN8-DN150)*
Grade: NB

Natural Rubber (NR)

Natural rubber is ideally suited for salts in water, dilute acids & alkalis and wet abrasives slurries.

Temperature Range: -40°F to 212°F (-40°C to 100°C)
Size Range: ½” – 6” (DN8-DN150)*
Grade: NR

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene)

EPDM is an excellent general purpose elastomer for chemical resistance, acids & alkali services, deionized / demineralized and hot water services, intermittent steaming and abrasive applications. EPDM has very low vapor and gas permeability. EPDM is suitable for intermittent steam, high vacuum, ozone, inert gases, as well as many industrial gas applications.

Temperature Range: -40°F to 260°F (-40°C to 127°C)
Size Range: ½” – 6” (DN8-DN150)*
Grade: E

FPM/FKM (Fluorine Rubber)

FPM is suitable for hydrocarbon and acid services, including sulphur and chlorine based applications, and aromatic and chlorinated solvents, chlorine and ozone. FPM is not recommended for ammonia, acetone or related applications.

Temperature Range: 0°F to 300°F (-17°C to 149°C)
Size Range: ½” – 6” (DN8-DN150)*
Grade: FPM (available both industrial and FDA grades)

Isobutylene Isoprene IIR (Butyl Rubber)

Butyl (IIR) is a good general purpose elastomer for fermentation media, acids & alkali services, deionized / demineralized and hot water services, intermittent steaming and abrasive applications. Butyl (IIR) is suitable for vacuum, and gas applications.

Temperature Range: -20°F to 265°F (-29°C to 129°C)
Size Range: ½” – 6” (DN8-DN150)*
Grade: IIR
